Goody Comb

All purpose comb with overlay and dip (Php 200++)

Hi everyone!

I love myย  Acca kappa brush but I am experiencing hair fall right now again! (gosh) So, I decided to use a comb to avoid hair fall. I bought a wide-tooth comb in Goody ( a trusted brand for hair accessories) while I am doing shopping at…

Purebeauty @ Serendra

A paradise in Serendra, the onlyย  beauty store I love to shop. Le sigh… don’t you just wish we have Sephora here? ๐Ÿ™‚

Overall Experience:

* Less hair fall (1-2 strands minsan wala pa)

* No tangles

* Smooth and light

* Good for everyday use

Organizer

I am still half-way organizing my vanity desk until I am contented. I just need to complete all the essential organizer and ready to blog ๐Ÿ™‚

Iย  store all my make-up & beauty toolsย  in a train case (click, click here) and in a 4-layer durabox green drawer even the one that I use for everyday but unfortunately it takes time for me to find what I really need so I bought this clear acrylic lipstick organizer in Rustan’s.

I just need one for vanity desk so I can easily pick my favorite’s for the chosen bullet for the day. I love this one because it’s a bit roomy ๐Ÿ™‚ it can accommodate 2-3 lipstick depending on the size. If you have MAC bullets, two pieces will be fine in one square without popping out!

And for those I use occasionally or depending on my mood… stays inside the train case and durabox.

Thanks Mary for your wonderful entry! I am so inspired to finish my vanity project and buy those MAC inspired beaker ๐Ÿ™‚

This is how I organize my everyday lippie loves in clear acrylic organizer.

Flirty Lashes

Hi everyone!

One of the natural beauty weapons of a woman is her eye lashes and not everyone is blessed with thick and long lashes like me. As they say, long lashes makes our eyes looks bigger and attractive especially with added mascara ๐Ÿ™‚

I always love having flirty eyes and god knows how many mascara’s and other eyelashes products I tried just to make my eyelashes grow thicker and longer… I just gave up and bought few fake eyelashes at the Face Shop which only cost me Php 115.00 each with different styles. It’s a steal ๐Ÿ™‚ it also comes with glue, so no need to buy separately.

SMISE! (smile with your eyes ๐Ÿ™‚ )

In picture above, I’m using false lashes ๐Ÿ™‚ It looks natural in personal and doesn’t feelย  heavy. False lashes are made of Synthetic single fiber polyester thread-like materials or natural hair which I think is much expensive and haven’t tried it yet, but the thought of it scares me tho’

How to apply false eyelashes

1)ย ย ย ย  Most lashes are wider than your eyes, so make sure to trim the lash from the sides one hair at a time to make it more natural.

2)ย ย ย ย ย  Apply the glue along the base of lashes using a stick or make-up brush.

3)ย ย ย ย  Pick up the lash by using a tweezers or simply using your clean fingers and bring it as close to your lash line as possible.

4)ย ย ย ย ย  Slightly press the false lashes from end to end using a make up brush or your finger to make sure it doesn’t slip.

5)ย ย ย ย ย ย  Apply Mascara to bond the false eyelashes with the natural ones to give more natural look.

6)ย ย ย ย ย  Lastly, apply liquid eyeliner to fill any gap between false lashes and natural ones. ( I love using E.L.F. liquid eyeliner)

I highly recommend The Face Shop False Eyelashes available in Trinoma, SM North etc.

Make-up Haul

Month: November 2010

I am still in my mini-getaway and am happy to be pampered like a princess and shop like a pro! ๐Ÿ™‚

I had my hair colored which I am obsessing for months before the wedding and facial cleaning due to heavy make-up worn last Friday
(11-19-10)

As you all know, I am forever searching for make-up goodies that is suitable to my skin and it’s so hard to pick because I am oily and acidic!

Goodness it’s a blessing and a curse as the same time? Why I say so… Blessing because having an oily skin will not make your skin age fast, while being an acidic is a curse because not all make-up goodies is available for use.

Creamy and liquid base make-up are something I can’t use on a regular basis or even occasionally because it melts like crazy on my skin like you can also put an egg and start to fry it on my face! blech.

Hokay, let’s see the pics!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily skin in 180 Sand Beige

That’s why I don’t like surfing blogs! why? I am truly influenced buying good stuff from trusted bloggers like mimi! She’s a friends from livejournal for 3 years now or more… She really write good stuff when it comes to beauty products ๐Ÿ™‚ Her taste is impeccable, love it: http://lacklusterr.blogspot.com/

I tried it a while ago and I must say it’s not cakey, although I still don’t know if this one is long-wearing since I need to take it off after an hour because my skin is still in a healing process due to peeling from my last procedure in belo clinic… so, yes my skin is peeling right now ๐Ÿ™‚ for the love of vanity! You think it’s easy to have a ready to go look?! haha you must invest! LOL

Oh may I add this one is affordable ๐Ÿ™‚

Such a MUA (Make-Up Addict) ๐Ÿ™‚

I also bought new Lip colour!

Elianto Moisture Lipstick in Sweetie Red

I love the colour, it gives more life to my face even without eye make-up.

When it comes to lip colour, eye shadows etc (except for foundation and face powder) I don’t have loyalty to a certain brand! I like trying everything ๐Ÿ™‚ but when a make-up will cause me an acne or feel itchy… I toss it without thinking twice.

But if you’ll ask me my most favorite lipstick brand(s): MAC, Chanel and Clinique.

I also bought baked blusher (marble)

Elianto Baked Blusher (marble)

I fell in love with the color, but I don't know if it's bagay on my skin ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, i hope this blusher works for me but of course I won’t compare it to my ol’ fave NARS ๐Ÿ™‚

tada! no surprise ๐Ÿ™‚ Naubusan ako ng so I need to buy this.

That’s all for the month of November! Actually my moolah goes to spa and facial treatments in Belo because of my wedding ๐Ÿ™‚ Now, I am back to regular facial cleaning that won’t hurt my wallet! Cheers!
