Fabsy FOOTZY shoes on my feet

Last Thursday 4/19, I met up with the owner of Footzy Shoes Ms. Nikki Teves at SM Makati to get my first pair. You all know that I love nude colour from shoes to clothing because it really compliments my skin and classy.

Ms. Nikki Teves (fashionably preggy)

Ms. Nikki Teves was very niceΒ  and pretty! how I wish I can be that blooming when it’s my turn to be preggy πŸ™‚

Anyhoo, the first time I saw the Strap way to heaven sandals I know that it will be perfect on me. I always have a trouble finding the right oneΒ  because it kills my feet… yung tipong sinasakal yung paa? imagine, flats na masakit pa? kakalowka lang.

But of course, when I saw the collection… it will be a risk again because I don’t know if it is a really comfortable sandals, but I am a risk taker πŸ™‚

Flesh and Tan (Php1000.00)

So… *drumrolls* Β  I sent an sms right away on the number posted in Footzy Shoes and asked if I we can meet-up instead because my feet size differs in shoe design. I am so glad that they have meet ups! Ms. Nikki Teves, brought size 7, 8 and 9! (Thank you so much!) I know that I am a little OC like that, but I am not a hoarder of shoes and clothes… That’s why when I buy… I want it to be perfect, classic, functional and good quality. Kaya- swak na swak ang meet up sa akin when I am doing online shopping πŸ™‚

When Nikki showed me the sandals for fitting, I never took it off and use it all the way to I love koi grand launch.

co-models in relaxed feet πŸ™‚

It was truly perfect for an afternoon casual meeting, shopping and date! I really enjoyed wearing this! No scratches, no pain and no dirt inside that some sandals gives after hours of walking! I lovet πŸ™‚ Happy with my purchase.

Ahh, I am way too picky now in every thing since ulcer pain existed in my life. So, I am fish and veggie type of gal for the past 2 months and present- forever.

I am not into show right now (boring) but been doing a lot of movie marathon from the Oscar’s 2012 and present. (e.g. The Artist, Hugo, The help etc… lovet!!!)

6. PERFUME

I still love my signature scent D&G light blue but lately been wearing Salvatore Ferragamo classic because it is so bagay this summer or J&J baby cologne regular/heaven!

Mantra Bracelet

I am blessed

Hi everyone!

Bought this at The Bead Shop (SM North) inspired by Bianca Gonzales mantra bracelet. She is one of my favorite blogger πŸ™‚

I am wearing this since I started teaching and order another one (customized) saying: If I fall, I will rise again.

At first my husband was making fun of me because he knows my staple accessories in my everyday outfit (Jewelmer pearl earrings, wedding band & engagement ring, gold blings (not together with pearls ha!)) My style is classic but I think I can try this edgy bracelet since it’s a good reminder while in the middle of hustle and bustle of life outside home πŸ™‚ Besides, I have my owl necklace when I feel youthful hehe…

Back from long hiatus! I’ve been busy from my part time job as a Teacher πŸ™‚ It really makes me happy! I love my students, from adults to kiddos… gosh, time flies. Anyway, it’s 24th of December and honestly we just made our Christmas shopping today. I am not complaining tho’ because I am happy that we are both busy working and able to pay bills and enjoy other luxury in life that money can buy and share it too with other people.

2011 has been good to me. There are a lot of good and bad things that has happened to me but am thankful to experienced it both because it made a better person which I consider as a humbling sophistication . Also, last night I received a call from a friend that brought good news about a new career that I am going to do come February after my first season in teaching. I am just so happy that my life is not in a rut, that am able to do all the things I want to and to be so much loved by my husband, family and friends.

I just have one wish for this year: To be healthy.

That is the downside of my 2011 aside from so much-drama in life haha! I had Neuralgia, Vertigo, Acidic stomach (I love and hate COKE!) and fatty liver. Would you believe, I’ve been avoiding pork and beef meat for a month now?! I can’t no longer eat at fast food, drink coke! eat citrus fruits. I can’t take risk anymore, the pain is so pain in the A! plus my medicines is so expensive, I ca even buy pair of shoes in SM Parisian every week haha! Thanks to my Dr. Husband who took care of me during the fall of my moody health.

My Style and Fashion Icons

Hi everyone!

My Style section is a compilation of pretty littleΒ  things that I adore, from bags, shoes and clothing. I am not really addicted to buying a lot of these things as much as I do in beauty products but I love investing for classic materials for my wardrobe that has a great quality and hopefully I can pass to my future kids or grand children!

My own style often teams vintage finds with new designer pieces. I go for something really simple or shape that has been around for ages and is timeless. I adore French 17th- century Aristocracy to Hitchcock films which ironically these are the styles that really don’t date as they’ve been around and loved for so long that they are now bona fide classics.Β  I love minimalistic approach as much as possible and when I tried to get a little funky, I go for color blocking… that is something adventurous for me and that is only during ‘ber holidays and summer.

Here’s a glimpse of my personal style:

Interviewing Matteo Pellegrini, President of Asia Region, Philip Morris International.

The classic LBD (little black dress) style top with white Bolero, I love LBD! very simple and elegant. and oh by the way! the dominant color inside my closet is black πŸ™‚

Different LBD style πŸ™‚

L-R Atty. Mario Zinampan, Hon. Imelda Marcos, Sofie and Atty. Noel De Luna

I love that dress with purple accent, I use this for corporate events and casual gathering.

with office mate, Atty. Wyanet Zaragoza- BFF of Divine Lee πŸ™‚ I love wyanet, because she's very simple and love her style!

Same style of dress as above but different on top πŸ™‚ Once, I love something… I love to have it in different colors!

A sample of colorful clothing πŸ™‚

I love fun colors but only during holiday’s, happy days,Β  and getaway and oh, I wear pink PJs πŸ™‚

As for Jewelry:

In normal days, I just wear pearl earrings and my wedding ring.

I love White Gold, Turquoise accent, Diamond,White Pearls and a little Gold because I feel old with lots of it πŸ™‚ plus my wedding ring and engagement ring if I want to go overload.

I don’t like piling up, just few will do to complete my wardrobe. I rarely wear a “watch” because it can’t stop me looking for the time and it makes me uncomfortable, its a habit. Plus, I hate hearing “tick-tock”, I rather look on my blackberry.

As for Shoes:

I love high heels! forever, but I must confess I use flats when it calls for a long walk like shopping. The dominant color of my shoe collection is nude/beige, it compliments my skin and makes my legs look longer.

As for Bags:

Now I am blinded by this! I am addicted to signature bags for I don’t know why. It makes me feel secure and pretty! So, I can’t describe what I look for bags, quality and name! O_o

There you go, a glimpse of my personal style.

My Peg:

My muse-for-all-seasons: Audrey Hepburn

Grace Kelly

Jackie O

Queen Rania of Jordan

MyΒ  inspiration comes from fashion Icons mentioned above and I love readingΒ  every thing about them, its interesting and empowering especially my Idol, Queen Rania of Jordan, wish I can meet her personally Le Sigh*.

I am so hooked on classics!

Outfit that I love to sport: Layering & Dress

So Girly, I love wearing dress at work, family gathering and girl bonding πŸ™‚

I don’t care if I am way too fat or skinny (how I wish) or how big my legs is… I love to wear dress at work, family gatherings and date with friends. That is my signature style and so as layering πŸ™‚
I am a girly girly most of the time, I love celebrating feminism through skirts, high heels and beauty products.

Peg when it comes to wearing a dress: Audrey Hepburn, Katy Perry, Amy Adams and Leighton Meester (I love how they look when they wear a dress, very classy and fun)

I love all black yet sophisticated style and Nicole Kidman just hit it!

Given the fact that our country is hot, I just love layering. Mabilis ako ginawin or sometimes, I don’t want to have uneven skin especially when going outside where the sun is way too much… hmmm also… honestly, it hides my fats haha! πŸ™‚

I just love to share with you what porma I love to sport. I am not a fashionista, keeping it simple yet elegant is my style. It doesn’t have to be expensive as long as it compliments my curves and fantastic colour which is usually neutral… I am ready to go πŸ™‚

Mulberry experience

When it comes to buying signature bags, I depend on me. Hokay, add the make-up and shoes… so my current theme song: Independent Woman Part 1 by Destiny’s Child =)

Pictures!

Mulberry Baby!

I swear, the smell made me decide πŸ™‚

When I first saw this bag, I’m a bit hesitant because it is way too soft… but after consulting to trusted fashion gurus (Imee Li and Erika Aquino) I bought it. Honestly, it’s a good investment to match my office attire. Not to forget, the smell of the leather! goodness. Heaven!

8.13.10 Casual Friday

I love Friday but today is unusual: Friday the 13th Ahoo**

So what?! Be extra Careful.

Actually I love casual Friday because I can wear JEANS! πŸ™‚

Having these big thighs, Whoa Skirt or Jeans name it… I’ll wear it with full confidence.

No matter what I do my hands won't meet an inch!

So I might as well enjoy every Inch of me and flaunt it!

Because being Fat is not a crime but having a healthy lifestyle and cutting down some junk foods and coke will make me live longer. Whatever.

Cheers to Casual Friday until we meet again.
